POLICIES
PAWS volunteers all share the values of professionalism, responsibility, compassion, commitment, integrity, and accountability with our community and shelter partners. These values are exhibited through:

Promoting responsible pet ownership daily including licensing, vaccinations, and spaying and neutering.

VOLUNTEER POSITIONS
Administrative
We need help processing applications and following up with past adopters. This is normally done by phone call. Question prompts are provided.
Transporters
We need help transporting dogs to our spay clinic in PG County every couple of weeks. We also need occasional assistance picking up dogs from local animal shelters.
Donation Collectors
We are always in need of new donations. Purina One Puppy and Adult Food, Bowls, Leashes, Toys, Puppy Pads, Newspapers. It can be as simple as sitting out a donation bin at work, networking online with your friends and family, or sharing our Amazon Wish List.
Social Media Networker
Anyone can do this! Go to our facebook page, PAWS Rescue, and share our posts all over facebook! There are about a dozen pages that we share our posts to. They then need to be bumped daily. We also could use someone to share stuff on other social networks like Instagram.
